This is not a real post. It’s just a cartoon, so it’ll be over soon, I promise. See, the the thing is, my mom asked me to stop writing about her before someone retroactively calls child services and, without mom stories, I don’t have a lot going on right now. Give me a week, I’ll think of something.
In the meantime, a parenting cartoon moment brought to you by MILK & the Madness:
The staggering laziness of my child is only eclipsed by her complete disregard for whatever the hell I might be doing at any given time.
“See, the the thing is, my mom asked me to stop writing about her before someone retroactively calls child services”
There is no statute of limitations on parental neglect – but there should be. I am thinking no more than a minute and a half – but then there are those lingering issues with my parents to whine about – and there is never a limit to whining. So where does that leave us? I dunno…
And ya gotta appreciate a little healthy neglect. Many adventures were had (and sibling bonds forged) when the folks were looking the other way.
