So I’m up in Washington visiting MILK and getting the kids together for the holidays. As you may know, weed recently became totally legal here. You don’t even have to fake back pain to buy it. Low and behold there was a weed store or bar or whatever you call them that opened a couple blocks from MILK’s house. Perfect for last minute stocking stuffers! How could I not go in and check it out? I guess I was expecting a full hippy-grease scented headshop with black light posters and macrame bracelets. I ended up in McDonald’s for stoners, stoners like regular McDonalds too… but I’m just trying to convey the atmosphere.
Some day man… just you wait.
They had three huge flatscreens over the counter with their menu of marijuana and glass cases sporting all the standard accessories and crazy weird high tech smoker gadgets a stoned engineer could dream up. The staff was very excited to talk in detail about their products. Like way too much detail. Sommelier level detail. I glazed over pretty quickly when the guy started discussing the lineage of some weed like it was a race horse.
But the best part of this new system is that you don’t have to sit on a ratty couch in a basement listening to some bullshit theory about the universe, or admire some guy’s way too extensive fish tank collection just because you want to score some grass.
The names for the thousands of individual strains get pretty creative and MILK came up with the idea for this game. It’s our gift to you, our readers, to entertain your grandparents on Christmas Eve. actually a few years ago before ben and jerry’s made hazed and confused i had created a strain that i dubbed hazed and confused. I named it this because i had crossed the original hash plant that was brought here into america back in the 70’s with a newer super haze strain. The super haze obviously left you in a haze and once the haze left you are just left confused. lol. thus hazed and confused. also the movie dazed and confused was a big inspiration for the name. I have pictures, seeds, and clones growing currently. so this isn’t 100% accurate. lol. and honestly they got lucky they copyrighted the name before me. lol
Perhaps to spite them you should name one Jen & Berry’s…or has that been taken already?
I like it. I have some new strains that I could do that with for sure. Lol. I still have a few of the hazed and confused seed tho as well. Lol. Maybe I could cross it with black berry and call her Jen and berry. Lol. I love it.
The hazed and confused is sweet and spicy with a little banana Laffy taffyNess to it. So mix that with black berry and I think youll have a Jen and berry for sure. Lol.
